What is Body Doubling?

Body Doubling is the process of working independently in the presence of at least one other person.
This accountability tool is especially helpful for ADHDers and neurodivergent people, but it's a great tool for anyone needing accountability to gain motivation and focus. A lot of us find that it is easier to complete boring, intimidating, overwhelming, or despised tasks when we are in the presence of others.

How does it work?

1.) Sign up for (a) session(s) using this form.

2.) Join the Zoom session at the scheduled time and share with the group your goal for the session.

3.) Start working. Everyone in the group will be working on their own thing. If you need help with a task or have questions, Kristin will be available to meet one-on-one in a breakout room briefly.

4.) Receive encouragement along the way. Working parallel to others helps us stay motivated and focused so we can execute tasks and reach our goals.

5.) Feel accomplished and relieved at the end of the hour because you’ve finally completed that task you’ve been putting off!
